So I was going through old pictures today, and I came across pics of John when he was on the SWAT team at Camp Pendleton. John misses those days soooo much! He loved it out there!
I also came across pictures from when he did that special for the Discovery Channel. I don't know if you guys ever saw all these pictures.
So on Saturday, I got to go see Paula Deen. She was doing a cooking show here in our area, and the USO was offering super cheap tickets. So I decided..what the heck. So, two of my friends and I went, and we had a blast! Not only was it good just to get out of the house, but Paula Deen is hilarious. Her husband cooked, while she told jokes for 2 hours! Of course, I will probably never cook anything of hers, since all her recipes have enough butter to kill someone! Her food is delicious though!
